A note from Dr. Wanda Phillips:

“I typically recommend placing elementary students at their age-appropriate grade level. However, in some cases, it may be beneficial to consider placement at the next level. This assessment is designed to help you determine whether such an adjustment is appropriate.

If your child has special learning needs, it’s a good idea to start at the recommended grade level. If it seems too challenging, you can always move back to the previous level.”
